When will my order ship?

What are your shipping rates for shipping within the U.S.?

Our standard shipping rate is $8.

How long will shipping take within the U.S.?

Standard shipping is via UPS Ground or USPS First Class Package and will be received within 5-10 business days. You will receive a shipping notification email that will notify you of the carrier and tracking options.

What are your shipping rates for international shipping?

Our standard shipping rate to Canada is $25. Our standard shipping rate anywhere outside the US or Canada is $35. Our heavy shipping rate to Canada is $45. Our heavy shipping rate anywhere outside the US or Canada is $65.

How long will shipping take for international orders?

Due to the current global impact of COVID-19, standard shipping times have been extended to 12-22 business days. You will receive a shipping notification email that will notify you of the carrier and tracking options.

Does maxbone cover duties?

maxbone does not cover taxes or duties for international shipping. The customer is responsible for any additional fees required upon delivery. More information on duty and tax requirements can be obtained by contacting your local customs office or tax agency.

Can discount codes be combined?

Discount or promotional codes cannot be combined. We will always honor the better discount for your purchase.

How can I redeem my gift card?

After you’ve added items to your cart and proceed to checkout, enter your gift card info into the “gift card or discount code” section to apply to your order.

Can I purchase a gift card through your website?

Yes! We offer virtual gift cards through our website. They are sold in specific increments of $25, $50, $100, $200 or $300. The gift card will be sent to the email entered at checkout. If you wish to purchase a gift card for a custom amount, please contact us at

What is your return policy?

We accept returns on items within 14 days of receipt. Items must be unworn with all tags attached. Items that are damaged or soiled may not be accepted and may be returned to the customer.

How do I begin the return process?

We’re sorry you didn’t love your max-bone product! We process our returns via Returnly. Click here to begin your return process. Enter your email address, select the items you would like to return, get a refund confirmation and send it off when you can. Please note that the buyer is responsible for cost of shipping on returns. Exchanges are free of charge within the USA. 

What if I want to return an item that falls outside of the return policy?

If you wish to return something outside of our 14-day window, please contact us directly and we will try to help in any way we can. If we are able to take the item back, it will be refunded in the form of a store credit.

What if my item breaks or becomes damaged?

If your item breaks or becomes damaged due to a defect, we are happy to replace it or offer a store credit. If your item becomes damaged through normal use, we are unable to take this item back.

Can I add a promo code after my order has been submitted? (I forgot to add my promo code)

After order has been placed, promo codes cannot be applied. The promo or discount code must be entered in the discount box at checkout to receive the current promotion or discount before placing the order.

The promotion ended, can I still use my code?

All promo codes are available for a limited time and while supplies last. Expired codes are no longer valid and cannot be used.

What can I do if my payment is declined?

Oh no! How to measure your pet

When buying clothes for your pet, make sure you get the right size for the most comfortable and long lasting fit. Use a tape measure or string to measure your pet by following these steps:

  1. Neck: Measure the circumference of your pet's neck at its widest point, where their collar would normally sit.
  2. Chest: Measure the widest part of your pet's chest, just behind their front legs.
  3. Back Length: Measure the length of your pet's spine, from the base of their neck to the base of their tail.
  4. Once you have these measurements, refer to the sizing chart for the specific product you're interested in to find the appropriate size for your pet. Note that sizes may vary depending on the product, so it's important to check the size chart for each item you're interested in.

How long do mb eats freeze-dried product last once opened?

Please store bags in a cool, dark place (like a pantry). We use no preservatives in any of our products. Once a product has been opened, we recommend using the product within 30 days after opening to maintain optimal freshness.

How are your recipes formulated? Do they meet AAFCO standards?

Our recipes were formulated by a Ph.D. veterinary nutritionist and evaluated by a team of veterinarians. Our recipes are complete and balanced for all life stages according to the nutritional levels established by AAFCO.

Where do your meats come from?

The meats for mb eats raw dog food products are raised without added hormones or antibiotics. We are proud to source U.S.A. farm-raised, pasture-fed, free-run, and wild-caught ingredients.

The item I want is sold out, is there anything I can do?

We try to keep our classics in stock year-round. For our more seasonal items, we cannot guarantee they will be restocked. You can however visit the product page of any sold-out item, select the size and color, and enter your email address to be notified when/if the product becomes available again.

How do shipments work?

We ship meals on a recurring, but flexible basis to ensure you never run out of food or have more than needed! When it comes to subscription, you're in control. you’ll have the ability to adjust deliveries at any time on our customer portal. We'll also send you a reminder email 3 days in advance of upcoming shipments, and a confirmation email with tracking information once an order processes – no surprises here.

How can I manage my subscription or cancel my account?

You can adjust your portions, rush or delay a shipment, change recipes, and modify shipping or billing information any time online. You may cancel your subscription in the customer portal or by emailing us at and following the instructions you receive.
